If a Station shows a 2-Wire or Station-related Error on the Dashboard, testing the decoder (PING) can validate it is a current issue.
Note: Use PING for the following errors:
- 1000 - 2-Wire Timeout (Decoder failed to respond because it's disconnected or doesn't exist)
- 1001 - 2-Wire Communication Error (Decoder communication issue that is 2-Wire path related)
- 2000 - Object Not Found (Something incorrect in decoder/station set up. Does this station have a decoder?)
- 3000 - Line Unit Failure Detected
- NG's - decoder encountered issue with on/off & will report specific issue
- Legacy - controller did not detect decoder activation via Power Profile. Check decoder, splice & solenoid.
- From dashboard, click (Stations)
- Click ERROR
- Select next to the station you want to test
- In station actions window click IO
- Click PING in the bottom left corner
- If error has resolved, no message will show
- If error remains, a message with error code will show.
