Understanding the NLP's Maximum Simultaneous Station Run

Modified on Fri, 15 Nov at 10:21 AM

The NLP supports both 2-Wire (Tucor decoder) and conventional (SERB) output. Refer to your output type for reference. See footnote for Hybrid Configurations (1)

(1) For NLPs controlling both Conventional (SERB) & 2-Wire (Decoder) outputs, the maximum simultaneous station run can be found by adding Max Active value for both types. For retrofit customers with NG & legacy decoders, a wire quality test is required to determine max station run if greater than 10.

(2) Each 24-Station Station Extension Relay Board (SERB) requires a separate transformer, the maximum station run is limited per SERB & by solenoid. For sites with multiple SERBs, the Max Active is valid per each SERB.

(3) Depending upon sensor count, valve type & wire condition, this number may vary.

(4) All retrofit customers looking to run > 10 stations simultaneously perform a wire quality test. Failure to complete this test may result issues with decoder operation.
